Airup is a German scale-up behind the world’s first refillable scent-based drinking system that flavours water through scent alone. Since its launch in Europe in July 2019, air up® has raised more than EUR 60M, expanded to 11 countries including the U.S with over 300 employees and millions of customers.

Air up required an experienced leader with deep T-shaped expertise across all areas of marketing including tech stack and data architecture.

In a 100% remote based capacity:
Developed and implemented a scalable full funnel channel mix: Meta, Search, Youtube, Influencers and Amazon.
Conceptualised matrix team structure, recruited and onboarded 25 high performing people with 5 heads– performance, retention, brand, website and data. Regularly performed multiple ‘Heads of’ roles until the vacancies were filled.
Led the internationalisation efforts by transitioning a predominantly German company culture and trading language to English speaking and global culture.

Delivered 5 x revenue growth within a 12-month period with €25m annual turnover. 9-figure turnover achieved in 2022.
Significantly contributed to deep rebrand and website relaunch resulting in prompted awareness of 65% and 15% increase in conversion rate.
Implemented several operational processes from budgeting, forecasting, content creation, GTM through, brand strategy through to campaign launches.
